Laboratory Grown Diamonds
Laboratory Grown Diamonds
Lab-grown diamonds are diamonds created in a controlled laboratory environment rather than naturally mined from the earth. These diamonds have the same physical, chemical, and optical properties as natural diamonds, meaning they are just as durable and brilliant. Lab-grown diamonds are produced using high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) methods or chemical vapor deposition (CVD) to mimic the natural diamond-forming process, resulting in stones that are identical to mined diamonds at the molecular level.
The primary differences lie in their origin and environmental impact. Lab-grown diamonds are generally more affordable and eco-friendly, as they don’t require large-scale mining and have a lower carbon footprint.
